The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX), along withKasikorn Bank pcl, PTT pcl, Muang Thai Life Insurance pcl, and other associations organized the Young Financial Star (YFS) 2016 Competition, which held for 14th year, to search for the most competent financiers from 5,400 Thai university students. In this competition, the students who qualified to the last 50 students round got intensive financial course both in theory and practice with the financial experts of Thailand. Afterward, each of them had to solve the financial cases and competed to be the winner.
At this year, B.E. students are the big winner in Young Financial Star (YFS) 2016 Competition, which the lists are as following:
• Mr.Thumthiti Pinto won the First place as TFEX Derivatives Star, receiving 50,000 Baht and scholarships for study visit in Thailand and overseas, for the grand total of 125,000 bath.
• Also Mr.Thumthiti Pintowon the Second place as K-Expert Star, receiving 25,000 Baht and scholarships for study visit in Thailand and overseas, for the grand total of 112,000 bath.
• Mr.PusitVittayanugool won the Second place as SET Investment Star, receiving 25,000 Baht and scholarships for study visit in Thailand and overseas, for the grand total of 115,000 bath.
• Miss. NatchaChoonhajindarn won the Second place as Muang Thai Life Insurance Star, receiving 25,000 Baht and scholarships for study visit in Thailand and overseas, for the grand total of 100,000 bath.
• Mr.NattapolSertsuwankulwon the Third place as PTT CSR Star Team, receiving 3,000 Baht and scholarships for study visit in Thailand, for the grand total of 168,000 bath.
Moreover, all of them also received either CISA or CFP scholarships for reaching the last 50 students round.
